<strong>Recruitment Process</strong><br><br>The Custodial Specialist Recruitment will consist of a <span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;" data-pasted="true">Multiple-Choice Exam and Appraisal Interview. The Multiple-Choice Exam is projected to be scheduled for <strong>Saturday, July 25, 2026</strong>, and interviews are projected to be scheduled for the week of <strong>August 4</strong><strong>, 2026</strong>. Dates and times are subject to change without notice. You must be successful in both the Multiple-Choice Exam and Appraisal Interview in order to be considered for the position. </span><br><br><strong>Basic Function</strong><br><br><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: left; text-indent: 0;">Under moderate supervision, maintains the cleanliness, sanitation, and disinfecting of ancillary corridors at various Metro locations.</span><ul style="margin: 1.2rem 3.2rem 3pt; padding: 0; color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: left; text-indent: 0"><li>Power wash ancillary corridors</li><li>Cleans, disinfects, and sanitizes walls, floors, ceilings and other surfaces</li><li>Cleans and maintains tools and equipment used</li><li>Moves custodial supplies and equipment between or within Metro facilities</li><li>Notifies management of need for repairs</li><li>Operates Metro vehicles to transport equipment and supplies to various Metro locations</li><li>Operate forklift to move trash or supplies, as required</li></ul><p style="margin: 1.2rem 0; color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0; text-align: center">May be required to perform other related job duties</p><dl style="margin: 0; padding: 0; color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><dd style="padding: 0.8rem 1.2rem; margin: 0; color: inherit; text-align: left; width: 826.275px"><p style="margin: 1.2rem 0">A combination of education and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
