The Outbound Contacts Representative 1 represents the company by making outbound contacts to members and/or providers regarding a variety of issues. The Outbound Contacts Representative 1 performs basic administrative, clerical, operational, customer support, and computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.
The Outbound Contacts Representative 2 performs necessary follow-up with members and/or providers. Ensures responses to member and/or provider inquiries are completed on a timely basis to achieve service and quality standards. Decisions are typically focused on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation, deviation, and/or independent discretion.
Qualifications
- 1+ year experience working in a call center environment such as heavy call volume, auto-dialer, dedicated inbound/outbound customer service or support role
- 1+ year of customer service experience
- Must reside in the state of Florida
- Bilingual - English, Spanish. Must be able to speak, read, and write in both languages without limitations or assistance, must take a language proficiency assessment
- Able to work independently, remotely, and with minimal supervision
- Intermediate to Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, utilizing multiple shared systems, platforms, and ability to troubleshoot/resolve general technical issues
- Strong typing and computer navigation skills with the capacity to use multiple computer applications simultaneously
Requirements

- Remote Work at Home
- Schedule: Monday through Friday between 8:00 and 5:00 PM Eastern Time

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service must meet the following criteria:
- At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
- While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required
