<strong>Description<br><br></strong>Ready to build the foundation of your software engineering career in a growth-focused program? Amazon is looking for highly motivated students to join the Jr. Developer Program (JDP). As a Jr. Software Development Engineer (Jr. SDE), you will write real software and collaborate with experienced engineers who provide guidance and opportunities for ownership. As a year-round intern, you will be fully integrated into a team and regularly contribute to impactful deliverables. Your designs and code will help solve complex technical challenges at Amazon.<br><br>The JDP is a year-round internship program designed to support a strong balance between work and school. You will receive 1:1 mentorship from a full-time Amazonian for the entirety of your program tenure. Flexible part-time schedules during the school year and full-time employment over the summer create an environment where students can succeed both academically and professionally. In Atlanta, an established Jr. community fosters meaningful connections between you and your peers.<br><br>Our team is currently looking for students to start with our September 2026 cohort. Upon successful completion of the program, the opportunity for full-time employment may be available at an Amazon corporate site.<br><br><strong>Program Highlights<br><br></strong><ul><li> Part-time work during the school year (16 hours/week)</li><li> Full-time work during the summer (40 hours/week)</li><li> 1:1 mentoring with an experienced Amazonian</li><li> Bi-annual performance reviews designed to support ongoing growth and development<br><br></li></ul><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university Bachelor's or Master's degree program.</li><li> Graduating June 2028 and beyond.</li><li> Majoring in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM field.</li><li> Ability to work year-round until graduation (part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer).</li><li> Ability to work in person year-round at the Atlanta corporate office.
