We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Spravato Technician with preferred experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to join our innovative healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support the administration of Spravato (esketamine) treatments, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical protocols. Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment areas and assist clinicians with the administration of Spravato under strict safety protocols.
  • Monitor patients during and after treatment for adverse reactions, vital signs, and overall well-being.
  • Collect and document patient information accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including intake details, vital signs, and medication history.
  • Support patient education by explaining treatment procedures, potential side effects, and post-treatment care instructions clearly and empathetically.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety standards related to medication handling, storage, and disposal.
  • Assist with medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating patient records, and managing insurance documentation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and mental health specialists to ensure seamless patient care delivery.

Requirements

  • Current certification or licensure as a CNA, CMA, RMA or equivalent; RMA preferred.
  • Prior experience working in dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of pharmacology related to mental health treatments and medication administration procedures.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR systems) and EMR/EHR management practices.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medication protocols.
  • Experience working in inpatient settings like Level I or Level II trauma centers or emergency medicine environments is advantageous.
  • Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to follow detailed safety procedures while maintaining efficiency in a busy clinical setting.
